What do KS2 children learn about 2D Shapes? Throughout KS2, children will learn different aspects of 2D shapes in Lower KS2 (Year 3 and 4) and Upper KS2 (Year 5 and 6). In Lower KS2, children will learn how to: Draw 2D shapes. Identify acute, obtuse and right angles. Understand horizontal, vertical, perpendicular and parallel lines.
